Noccalula Falls

Noccalula Falls Park is a 250- Acre public park located in Gadsden, Alabama.  The main feature of the park is a notable 90-foot waterfall with a gorge trail winding through its basin and past caves, an aboriginal fort, an abandoned dam, a pioneer homestead, and Civil War carvings. The park also features mini-golf courses, a Wedding Chapel, and over 16 miles of walking/biking trails.  It was listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on May 12, 1976.

Twin Bridges Golf Course
The par 72, 6,800 yard, 18-hole course, designed by Gene Bates will challenge and delight golfers of all skill levels. The course features finely manicured Bermuda fairways, bent grass greens, and strategically placed bunkers all set along the Coosa River. Golfers and nature enthusiasts alike delight in the natural beauty and calming wildlife that surround the golf course. Twin Bridges welcomes golfers of all skill levels

Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail – Silver Lakes
Named by Golf Digest’s Places to Play as one of the nation’s Great Value courses in the public category, Silver Lakes is set on rolling terrain at the edge of Talladega National Forest between Anniston and Gadsden. Silver Lakes features three Championship nines plus a nine hole Short Course. This facility is anchored by a number of strong par fours that play to pedestal greens perched 30 to 40 feet above fairway level. by offering four sets of tees.

Coosa River Boardwalk and Splash Pad
If fishing is your game, you’ll enjoy venturing along the banks of the Coosa River. The 1,000-foot boardwalk is a good place to toss in a hook and talk to a few of the local fishermen. With benches, gazebos, & picnic areas lining the walk, this area also provides a perfect place to sit and watch the day slip into dusk.

Mary G. Hardin Cultural Arts Center
Its triangular shape and enormous cylinder have come to stand for the educational opportunities and endless entertainment the arts bring to a community. The Hardin Center for Cultural Arts, under the direction of the Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation, opened in 1990, and today more than 100,000 people visit the exhibits, performances and functions held at the Center each year.

Imagination Place
Imagination Place is designed primarily for children ages 2 through 10, the kids will delight in exploring KidsTown USA where everything is pint sized. Downstairs is a medical clinic, grocery store, construction pit and more. You can even hop in the back of the Red Cross ERV (emergency response vehicle) and make a disaster relief meal. Upstairs you can enjoy the turtle hospital featuring Madonna and Yoko our two Russian tortoises, then visit the farm. Next you’ll be able to slide back down to the first floor through the tree house fort. We believe children learn through play and hope you’ll visit us at Imagination Place Children’s Museum where we’re playing unplugged!

Gadsden Museum of Art
The Gadsden Museum of Art features works of Southern art and artists and houses an extensive permanent collection of paintings, sculptures, and prints. In addition, the museum hosts a series of changing exhibits featuring the works of local and regional artists.
